Welcome to Prairie Points, your Central Illinois go-to shop for everything you need for quilting, sewing, embroidery and other projects! With over 4,000 bolts of the highest quality cotton fabrics, we know you will find just what you're searching for. We carry the largest selection of contemporary fabrics south of Chicago, as well as 30's reproductions, juvenile fabrics, florals, flannels and many of your favorite designer fabrics. Large groups and buses are welcome! We offer a 10% discount to groups of 25 or more. (Advance notice is appreciated.) Come in, shop and use our classroom for a lunch break, if you'd like. You will find a wide variety of dining options in the area. We offer a variety of classes to help you with those projects or to teach you a new, fun skill to make your sewing experience even more enjoyable. We have sew-ins and quilt clubs too, so you can be part of our family and get inspiration from each other!  2013-2014 Block of the MonthFinally got the fabrics in for the new Block of the Month, and are they ever gorgeous! We're going outside the box a little bit with this one, but we think you're going to love it! The pattern is "Everything's Coming Up Roses" by Block Central. There's a picture on their website that will give you an idea of the pattern, but those aren't the fabrics we're using. Ours are a beautiful line from Laura Ashley in soft, romantic lavendar, purple, green and cream florals. Different than our past BOMs, but everyone who has seen them so far absolutely loves them. Claudie is busy making the sample now and we'll have it on display as soon as she's done and it's quilted. Our plan is to start the BOM in June. It is a 12-month BOM, so it will run from June 2013 to May 2014. Cost and details have not yet been determined - so keep checking your email blasts and we'll keep you posted. We'll have a picture for you asap too!
